The Anne Frank House, which is located on the canal Prinsengracht, close to the Westerkerk is today a biographical museum dedicated to the Jewish 15-year old Anne Frank, who wrote a diary during the second worldwar. The Heineken Experience, which is an interactive visitor center in the old Heineken Brouwerij (Heineken Brewery) is a Must-See or rather Must-Do not only for fans of this Dutch pilsner. Besides beer-tastings, you can do a virtual-reality ride and get some insights into the century-old factory and the history of the Heineken family. An app takes the visitors on a journey through the factory and to interactive exhibits. This brewery, which is also known as the Windmill Brewery is located next to the famous Gooyer wind mill at Funenkade 7 and dates back to 1985 when the first beers were brewed there.
